01. Publication of monthly statistical bulletins, annual statistical pocketbooks and yearbooks containing various essential information of the country;

02. Conduct and report on (1) population census (2) agricultural census and (3) economic census every ten years;

03. Determining and publishing Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and other macroeconomic indicators including growth rates such as savings, investment, consumption, per capita income, etc.;
